  1. The Google search “TV Installation Austin” is a “ready to buy” search. It shows a user’s intention to find a company to solve that problem right now.

  2. Other companies are paying for Google Ads — at over $14 per click — to reach the customers looking for that term.

  3. BUT there are companies in the Map results — aka right at the top of the page and right at the top of Map search results on phones — that are there DESPITE having incomplete and subpar Local SEO. I know because I’ve checked them. One of those in the top 3 results as completed only 26% of their Local SEO listings.

So all a competitor needs to do is do more complete job online, and they will own that prime search engine real estate.

Do a tiny bit more work (get good customer reviews from happy clients) and that company is GOLDEN. (Notice the “#1” result has a mediocre 3.6 Google review average?) Taking control and getting good reviews isn’t hard, nor does it break the bank.
